Transform
Transform moves, turns and resizes a mesh or curve. Use Align to stand a model on the ground or center it on the origin in one click, then nudge it with Translate. Turn on Fit size to give a model its real-world size: it scales evenly until its height (or width, depth, or largest side) is exactly Fit length. That is the first step for an AI-generated model, which arrives at a random size. Fit size scales about the pivot, then turns, then Align snaps the resized model (Align Y = Min stands it exactly on the ground), then Translate adds on top. Pick a named selection in Apply to and only that part moves, with the surface around it following smoothly: lift a patch of ground, tilt a panel, or grow one part of a model.
Inputs
Section titled “Inputs”The mesh or curve to move, turn or resize.
Outputs
Section titled “Outputs”The same geometry, moved, turned or resized.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”| Parameter | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
Apply to | What moves: Everywhere, or a named selection. Invert flips the choice. | Everywhere |
Translate | How far to move it along each axis. | 0, 0, 0 cm |
Rotate | How far to turn it around each axis, in degrees. | 0, 0, 0 |
Scale | How much to stretch or shrink it along each axis. 1 leaves it unchanged. Shown when Fit size is Off. | 1, 1, 1 |
Fit size | Resizes it evenly so one side is exactly Fit length long, instead of using Scale. | Off |
Fit axis | Which side Fit size measures: Height, Width, Depth, or the Largest of the three. Options: Height (Y), Width (X), Depth (Z), Largest Shown when Fit size is On. | Height (Y) |
Fit length | How long the Fit axis ends up. Shown when Fit size is On. | 100 cm |
Pivot | The point it turns and scales around. Centroid is its own center, Origin is the center of the world, Custom uses Pivot point. Options: Centroid, Origin, Custom | Centroid |
Pivot point | The point it turns and scales around when Pivot is Custom. | 0, 0, 0 cm |
Align X | Snaps it onto the origin along X: Min puts its low side on 0, Center centers it, Max puts its high side on 0. Translate still adds on top. Options: None, Min, Center, Max | None |
Align Y | Snaps it onto the ground along Y: Min stands its bottom on the ground, Center centers it, Max puts its top on 0. Translate still adds on top. Options: None, Min, Center, Max | None |
Align Z | Snaps it onto the origin along Z: Min puts its low side on 0, Center centers it, Max puts its high side on 0. Translate still adds on top. Options: None, Min, Center, Max | None |
