Utility nodes

Utility nodes are the plumbing. They name parts of a mesh for later nodes, link parts of a graph without a wire, bring models in from disk, and write the result out to your game engine.

  • Selection: name a part of a mesh or curve for later nodes.
  • Portal: link two parts of a graph without a wire (Portal Out and Portal In).
  • Import: load a glTF or GLB model as a mesh every node can edit.
  • Export: write the result to a .glb file your game engine imports.
  • Engine Output: send a mesh or animated character to an open Unity project.
  • Unreal Engine Output: send the result straight into a running Unreal Editor.
