Licences
Forge ships a little content: some made by other people, and a few sample models of its own. All of it is free to use in your own work, including commercial games, and nothing here limits what you can do with what you make in Forge.
Quaternius
Section titled “Quaternius”Quaternius makes free game assets and releases them under CC0 1.0 (Creative Commons Zero), which places them in the public domain. CC0 asks for no credit; we give it anyway, with thanks.
- Universal Animation Library (Standard): the animation clips the Add Animation node adds to a rigged character: Idle, Walk and Jog. Forge converts the motion once to its own skeleton and ships the result; the clips you export are yours to use however you like.
- Universal Base Characters: Female: the Reference Figure, the stand-in body you can place beside your own model to judge its scale.
Both are available from quaternius.itch.io.
Sample models
Section titled “Sample models”The sample models a template opens on from the start screen are Forge’s own, and free to use like everything else on this page.
- AI mesh cleanup: a hut, and Character: a sprite. Both were generated with Meshy AI by Forge’s maintainer, on a paid plan that gives the maintainer the rights to them. Their textures are recompressed to keep the download small.
- Merge Parts and Clean & Repack: small test models made for Forge.
