Model nodes

Model nodes are the edits you would make by hand in a modeler. They push faces out, round edges, add cuts, remove parts, and cut one solid out of another.

  • Extrude Faces: push faces in or out along their normals.
  • Bevel: soften sharp edges into a flat or rounded strip.
  • Loop Cut: insert evenly spaced edge loops along an axis.
  • Delete: remove the part a selection picks out, or keep only that part.
  • Separate Pieces: name each piece of a mesh as a selection, so a later node can work on one piece.
  • Boolean: cut one solid out of another, join them, or keep their overlap.
